The Shoregate is an award-winning restaurant, bar and boutique hotel in Crail, just 9 miles from St Andrews in the stunning East Neuk of Fife.

The best in Scottish food, drink and accommodation combine with the historic charm of the village and harbour to ensure you’ll never want to leave.

Our modern dining room and our historic bar offer a variety of fantastic food and drink that showcases the finest of Fife and the East Neuk.

We’re open for lunch and dinner five days a week from Wednesday – Sunday; reservations are recommended.

Four elegant bedrooms will give you a perfect nights sleep and our tempting breakfast menu will see you through the day.

Whether you’re stopping in Crail for the wildlife, the walking, the golf, a wedding, for a family event, or a relaxing getaway, we’ll go the extra mile to ensure you have an amazing stay.

Session nights in the bar occur every two to three weeks on Wednesday evenings from 20:00 to 22:30.

If you’re a player, a singer, or just like to listen, pop along for tunes and songs old and new. All are welcome and there’s no charge.

We’re a stone’s throw from Crail harbour, just nine miles from St Andrews and no more than 30 minutes away by car from six amazing beaches and over two dozen golf courses. The 95 bus stops right in front too.
