Food from Crail
The East Neuk has some of the best produce and producers in the country. The rich seas and soils provide an ever changing supply of amazing ingredients year round.
We want to showcase the food and drink from local suppliers where possible, and reduce food miles as much as we can.
We update one or two dishes on the menu every month as ingredients come and go out of season.
We always have a vegetarian option, that can also be made vegan on request. Many of our dishes are already, or can be created, gluten-free, but please let us know in advance if you have any intolerances.
The evening meals were creative, beautifully presented, very generous portions, local and flavoursome food. Would definitely return and recommend.

Reserve your table
You can book online for up to six people. Reservations are normally available between 18:00 and 20:30 (17:30 for certain shows taking place at Crail Community Hall).
If you would like a table for more than six, please email us or call us during opening hours.
We take a credit card number as part of the booking process for all dinner reservations. A charge is only made if you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up for your booking. Full booking terms are available here.
We sometimes get last minute availability. Please feel free to call us on the day even if there are no tables showing.
Children, but no dogs.
Children are very welcome in the dining room for dinner and we have a high chair available. A children’s menu is available on request.
We do not allow dogs in the dining room at any time (except for registered assistance dogs).
Larger groups
We are able to accommodate larger groups of up to 28 in the dining room for dinner.
Choose from our à la carte menu in advance, opt for a three course prix fix or let us create a bespoke menu for you.

Accessibility
All ground floor areas of The Shoregate are fully accessible.
Entry to the building and to the dining room is flat with wide access doors. There are two steps up to the bar, but a wheelchair ramp is available.
We have a wheelchair accessible toilet.
