Festive group menu

Whether you’re planning an intimate business dinner or a grand festive party with colleagues, our Festive menu for groups offers exciting and varied dishes all your party are sure to love. Rich in traditional Scottish flair with a modern twist, all our food is created with the freshest seasonal ingredients sourced from local suppliers wherever possible.

Christmas session night
In the bar from 8pm on Thursday 28th. No mics, no amps, just musicians, singers and people who like to listen to songs and tunes old and new.
Hogmanay dinner
As the final days of the year wane, The Shoregate prepares for the grandest of Scottish celebrations.
Our spectacular seven course tasting menu brings together the familiar with the contemporary, celebrating the very best of the produce from Fife and beyond. We’re pushing the boat out even further this year with new dishes to delight the tastebuds. In addition to our omnivorous menu, we have a full vegetarian option created with the same care and attention to detail.
We will book up quickly so to secure your table, please email us with name, phone number, your party size and preferred time. We will call you back to confirm and take a booking deposit.
New Year
On 1st and 2nd of January we’ll be kicking off the New Year with an all day celebration menu in both the restaurant and bar from 12.30pm to 5pm. Featuring a traditional roast and local specialities, bring your friends, bring the family and see out the day after the night before.

Although we don’t have a dedicated children’s menu, we are always happy to adapt our dishes for younger tastebuds and appetites on request.
OPENING HOURS
Until 23rd December: normal hours
Christmas Eve:
The bar and restaurant will be open for extended lunch from 12.30 until 5pm. The bar will then continue to be open for drinks only until 9pm.
Christmas Day and Boxing Day:
CLOSED to allow our team to spend Christmas with their friends and families.
Wednesday 27th:
The bar will be open from 3pm for drinks only. We will not be serving food today.
Thursday 28th, Friday 29th and Saturday 30th:
Open as normal for lunch and dinner.
Join us for our session night on Thursday evening from 8pm.
New Years Eve:
The bar will be open as normal from 12 with lunch served from 12:30pm – 3pm. The dining room will be shut for lunch.
In the evening, the restaurant will be serving our Hogmanay seven course tasting menu dinner, and the bar will be open until the early hours.
1st and 2nd Jan:
We will be serving our New Years family lunch menu in both the bar and restaurant from 12.30pm until 6pm. The bar will then stay open as normal.
3rd Jan – 30th Jan:
We will be CLOSED for annual holiday.
Wednesday 31st Jan:
The bar will open for drinks only from 3pm. Session night from 8pm
Thursday 1st Feb:
The bar will open for drinks only from 3pm.
Friday 2nd Feb onwards – open as normal
