Christmas at The Shoregate is always a special time. The decorations are up, the fire’s lit and the cocktails are flowing.

This year, our regular menus are running throughout December. We also have a traditional Christmas menu for groups of eight or more until 23 December.

There’s an extra Monday session night on 30 Dec, and our fantastic Hogmanay eight course tasting menu is booking now.

On 01 and 02 of January we’ll be serving our all day family roast lunch. Book to reserve your space in the bar or dining room. Last tables at 18:00.

Opening Times

Until Sun 22 Dec – Open as normal.

A celebratory Christmas menu is available for groups of 8 and over from 01 Dec – 23 Dec.


Mon 23 – Open for lunch and dinner.


Christmas Eve – All day lunch service from 12:30 to 18:00. The bar will be open until around 21:00.


Christmas Day & Boxing Day – Closed.


Fri 27 – Bar open from 13:00. Kitchen closed.


Sat 28 & Sun 29 – Open as normal


 

Mon 30 – Bar and kitchen open for lunch and dinner. Special session night from 20:00.


New Year’s Eve – Lunch 12;30 until 14:00. Eight course tasting menu served from 18:00. Bar open until the wee hours.


Wed 01 & Thu 02 – New Year roast menu served from 12:30 to 18:00 (last reservation). Bar open all evening.


Fri 03 to Thu 30 Jan – Closed for annual holidays.


Fri 31 Jan – Reopen. Bar and kitchen as normal

Available at lunch or dinner, 01 Dec – 23 Dec for groups of eight or more, it’s ideal for businesses, clubs or associations.

Three courses for £45. We are able to provide drinks packages if required.
